  1. Bring Some Items From Home:
    Our pet guests are more than welcome to bring along a few of their favorite things to Preppy Pet. Adding his or her name to it is a good idea, mark pet name with a permanent marker.We ask that you limit your pets personal belongings to two items. These items should be labeled with a permanent marker before bringing them in. For your pets safety, we cannot accept rawhide, pig ears, or hooves.
  2. Bed, Blankets and Toys:
    Bring your pet's favorite bed and/or blanket, toy, or any item with a familiar scent— adding his or her name to it is a good idea. Limit to two items please.
  3. Medications:
    We'll administer prescribed medications if they're in the vet's original container. (A fee applies to this service.)
  4. Food and Treats:
    Pre-portion your pet food into zipped lock bags and also bring treats and bedding for both dogs or cats. When you bring food at check-in, please keep single meal servings in containers or zipped bags labeled with your pets name and provide written feeding instructions. Treats (except rawhide bones) are also welcome.
  5. Fleas & Ticks:
    All pets should be flea and tick free. Pets showing signs of fleas and/or ticks will be treated at the grooming salon at the pet parents' expense prior to check-in.
  6. Check-In Suggestions and Requirements
    Dogs DHLPP (Distemper, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza) Rabies 4 months and older Bordetella (Canine Cough) Please check your paperwork as this is a requested vaccine. Given at least 7 to 10 days prior to arrival. Cats FVRCP (Feline Viral, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) Rabies
  7. Where will my cat, bird and small animals stay and what do we bring for them?
    Cats stay in the Kitty Hawk room in our provided private cat condos. You must bring cages for birds, aquariums or cages for small animals, along with foods, treats and toys.
  8. What type dog breeds, sizes or pets that are not accepted?
    We welcome all size dogs! We do not accept any aggressive pets that may injure themselves, our guests or staff. If you let us know about what temperament your pet may have, we will advise. They may be accepted, however might have a No Contact Fee that will apply. We do not accept any dog in heat, major health issues or fleas/ticks problems. We may not accept any pet based on the discretion of the Managers decision.
