Cancelation Policy

At Preppy Pet we strive to make the Pet Boarding reservation process as smooth as possible.  To ensure our guests that they will have a Kennel space available to them we require a $50.00 Non-Refundable deposit to secure the kennel during all Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. We require the deposit because we have limited boarding kennels and to guarantee a kennel for those guests that are sure they want to board with us.

We would prefer not to take a reservation unless you are absolutely sure you want to board with us during the Holiday timeframe you have designated.

Because making a reservation removes a kennel from the available list we have to turn guests away when we are full. By canceling your reservation, we have potentially lost a boarder for that kennel space.

Therefore, this is why our cancellation policy does not refund your deposit but applies your deposit towards your Preppy Pet Boarding Account to use for future boarding stays with us providing you have canceled a minimum of 72 hours before your stay.
